During 2004 we established a fenced, secure compound of 5 acres on the northern edge of Kapoeta, with permanent living quarters, 2 boreholes, workshop, storage facilities and a 1 ½ acre market garden.
Accommodation:
Tranquil surroundings comprising of tukuls/rondavals self contained. Tented accommodation also available. Meals provided in large mess/conference room. We also welcome campers, toilets/latrines/showers on site.
Bruce Pike started working in the water well industry in California in l975 and has been involved since working in various parts of the world. Based in East Africa since l981. He started working in Eastern Equatoria in l989 drilling and repairing boreholes dba Medic Water Project, Well Water Resources and now New Sudan Service & Supply, has completed over 600 successful boreholes in the area.
Our clients over the years have been, Lutheran World Relief, OLS – UNICEF,Norwegian Church Aid, CRS, UNHCR, GTZ, Caritas, WFP, PACT-Sudan, DAI (Sudan Program), Government of South Sudan/Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Ministry of Mines, State Government of Eastern Equatoria, Diocese of Torit.
New Sudan Service & Supply are deeply committed to operating in E. EquatoriaAs evidenced by our record over the last 20 years. Our capacity building has always been an important objective and we endeavor to train local staff where ever possible.
We have a permanent staff of 40 men and women. Staff includes drillers, mechanics, welders, carpenters, drivers, cooks camp staff and helpers.
New Sudan Service & Supply are well established and placed to carry out repair, rehabilitation work, installation of village water systems as well as drilling of new boreholes.
